Short film by Joanne Geha.
Byblos follows the story of Zeina, a young Lebanese woman who is faced with her childhood past while shopping at the supermarket. Here she meets a man with a familiar face, and is troubled by her curiosity as to who he is. We follow her journey as she reminisces her past as a child with her grandmother and mother. The pace and speed of the film draws you in closely, as each flashback has something new and unique to discover. Will her memories suffice; or is she about to discover another spoon full of secrets and hidden family gems?
